RESPONSIBILITIES OF DEPARTMENT COORDINATORS

Regularly monitor and stay informed about the information on the Erasmus+ Exchange Program webpage at https://erasmus.bingol.edu.tr/.

Ensure healthy coordination between the Erasmus Coordination Office and the faculty/school/institute.

Establish new connections that align with the department's needs and encourage faculty members in the department to engage in agreements.

Provide support for the smooth operation of Erasmus+ Mobility activities and coordinate the functioning of programs in the department as a coordinator.

Introduce the Erasmus+ Program to department students and faculty members, guide students, and respond to information requests.

Announce Erasmus+ Mobility application announcements and selection results within the department.

Directly support the Erasmus+ Coordination Office in monitoring the application process of candidate students, check students' application documents.

Assist in preparing students for exchange and monitor their progress.

Provide direct support to the Erasmus+ Coordination Office in monitoring the application process of outgoing students to the host institution.

Ensure the correct selection of courses to be taken by students at the host institution and the proper completion of the Learning Agreement form (legal responsibility in the prepared protocol belongs to the department coordinators).

Sign the learning agreements of students going on exchange.

Prepare the adaptation forms of students going on exchange, submit them to the unit management board with the necessary additional documents.

Provide support if there are academic difficulties for international students during mobility activities.

Handle academic recognition/course counting/grade conversion procedures for students completing mobility activities (submitting completed course counting forms of students with additional documents to the unit management board).

Gather feedback from students returning from exchange and share this information with future students.

Sign learning agreements with students coming for exchange and provide information about course contents.

Inform incoming students about the education system, grading, and evaluation matters.

Assist incoming students in adapting, and if necessary, assign a voluntary student to assist the student.

Prepare the transcript for the student after the completion of the educational period.

Coordinate with the faculty members who taught the courses taken by the student.
